Two Day Training on MISRA C:2012 with Security Amendments

Course overview

This training course will discuss the newest version of the MISRA standard that lets developers take advantage of more C features while helping them mitigate risk for safety and security critical applications. Our speaker will provide the very latest information directly from the MISRA committee and will discuss the plans for the future.

Listen to Chris Tapp, Chairman of the MISRA C++ working group and one of the key authors of this important new standard.
Anyone developing software with the potential to put lives at risk has an obligation to take every reasonable step to ensure that their work is sound. Adhering to standards is one key step in that process, and MISRA is the internationally recognised foundation for best coding practises.
However, features of the language that are designed to increase application performance, developer productivity and implementation flexibility, are often just the features that such standards disallow and this has long been a source of trouble for developers. MISRA C:2012, with its more flexible approach, changes the game in this respect.

The Key Areas of Discussion /Demonstration Will Be:

  • Introduction to MISRA
  • Use of ‘C’ in Embedded Systems
  • Adopting and using MISRA C
  • MISRA C:2012 Guidelines
  • New Security Amendments
  • Deviation and Compliance

The price for this course is £675.00/€775.00 (Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the duration of the course).
